Well since I have been out here in the desert I have taken on another hobby along with my pedal biking. Well mountain biking is more of a life style rather than hobby but I have found a lot of fun by exploring out in the desert on my twist throttle bikes as well. Right now I own two; a KTM SX620 enduro and a Honda Xr650R (Yeah the same one that wins the Baja 1000 every year). I really like this motorcycle. It will run 100+mph and takes me to alot of remote spots which is what I really like to do is explore. The trail in the
pictures is in my backyard and it goes for miles & miles. Its so cool to get on the spine (which is the name of the trail “Spine Trail”) of these mountains and just look at all the badass desert scenery out here. I seem to end up doing alot of the “Wyld Willy” type of adventures where the gas starts getting low and the sun is going down and your really not sure how to get back over three mountain ranges since you kind of Renegaded your way to the current spot which your sitting, scratch’n your head thinking “How in the hell did I end up way over here?? I always ride by myself which is an concern for my wife because she only knows the region I’m in and there are a lot of mountains & holes to get lost in.
But I look at it the same way as I do mountain biking which is keep a cool head and just don’t fuck up so badly that you cant get yourself out of there!! I’m not ditch’n my pedal biking by no means. We have some great stuff going up in the back yard trails and it’s time to get a new Big bike since the stuff is going to be bigger than my little Bottle Rocket likes along with my knees, neck and right shoulder!! So here are some pics of my Thanksgiving morning ride. I know all of you will not really care since it does not involve pedals bikes but some of you will have to appreciate the beauty of the single track which is very nice if you like rocky, technar with steep hillclimbs, 8′deep sand/gravel slop which can dismount you off of your bike faster than you can say ‘SHHHIIITTT!!” Enjoy the BRRRPPP!

I prefer training wheels, you dont need a kickstand that way. Dude if your running out of gas with that big ass tank you are going to damn far. Typical for you though. Just remember never ride faster than you can see.
